We have an immediate opening for a Media Manager in our Overland Park, KS office. This is a full-time position responsible for managing campaign execution across a portfolio of travel industry accounts. MMGY media team members possess a strong curiosity to learn, are creative and collaborative thinkers to ensure delivery of new media solutions, and must have a drive to deliver maximum and efficient value for our clients’ media investments. Knowledge across digital, traditional, social and B2B channels is preferred. MMGY is looking for a collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and aptitude for learning more about data-driven marketing. Responsibilities* Assist media planner in tactical campaign planning across all integrated media channels

    • Support planning team on client presentations and assist with ongoing client deliverables
      • Provide support on RFP development and negotiation
  • Own activation of media buys across all integrated media channels – digital (including programmatic, CTV, content and social), traditional (including broadcast, print and out-of-home) and B2B channels
    • Manage vendor negotiations and confirmation of media placements
      • Issue and update insertion orders
      • Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to successfully kick-off and execute media campaigns
      • Own media budget and ensure client funds are spent as agreed upon in contracts and media plans
  • Oversee campaign deployment
    • Confirm campaign launches are on time and accurate
      • Ensure media deliverables are completed and executed to client expectations
  • Support ongoing client reporting
    • Check reporting data for accuracy against media buys
      • Analyze performance and pacing to ensure campaigns drive results exceeding KPIs; oversee optimization and communication to internal, vendor and client teams
      • Provide in-depth insights for client-facing reporting monthly
  • Attend vendor meetings to gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of media options, vendor partner innovations and market opportunities

Experience and Skills* 2 - 3 years of experience in media or relevant roles

  • Strong working knowledge of measurement and third-party tracking tools
  • Experience with social platforms and media buying or media campaign management
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team and collaborate with others
