As we expand our digital presence, we’re looking for a creative and organized Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Overview Summary:

The Social Media Marketing Assistant will be responsible for developing and executing daily social media content and engagement strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others. This role will help build brand awareness, support sales efforts, promote new products, and foster community engagement.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Develop and schedule engaging social media content aligned with brand voice and seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate product photography and video shoots for digital use (stories, reels, posts, etc.).
  • Manage daily posting, story updates, and monitor audience engagement across all platforms.
  • Track analytics to measure growth, engagement, and campaign performance; generate monthly reports.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align social efforts with promotions and product launches.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and tagged posts in a timely manner.
  • Identify trends, hashtags, and influencers that can help amplify brand presence.
  • Maintain an organized content calendar and asset library.
  • Assist with email marketing, digital advertising, or trade show promotions as needed.
  • Provide graphics/basic editing of marketing materials support
  • Compose brand-consistent blogs on a regular basis (TBD) for publishing on our website(s) and/or other channels
  • Create visually appealing and brand-consistent marketing materials for use across various channels
  • Conduct market research to better understand marketing needs and target audience
  • Compile marketing data and present it in an accessible way to various teams
  • Propose marketing strategies and campaign ideas to various teams
  • Wholesale and tradeshow support as needed
  • Miscellaneous marketing and administrative support as needed
  • Ability to travel to events/trade shows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a wholesale, fashion, or lifestyle brand.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Excellent written and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other AI tools.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Passion for leather goods, fashion, or retail industry a bonus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Graphics and/or video editing experience in the Adobe Suite (strongly preferred)
  • At least 1 year of Project management experience (preferred)
