Compensation Range: $110-130k per year.
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

Job Description
The Strategic Relations Manager is responsible for the development and execution of high-level, complex accounts to ensure long-term success in mutually beneficial partnerships for Discovery Behavioral Health. The candidate will identify opportunities and evaluate evolving trends in behavioral healthcare to provide DBH leadership with creative direction to drive growth in referral volume for all service lines. They will possess skills and knowledge to build trust and leverage relationships internally and externally to increase a client’s access to quality care. The candidate will interact routinely and collaboratively with clinical outreach teams and cross-functional partners to improve engagement in strategic relations and increase DBH’s trust and value with key stakeholders. The Strategic Relations Manager is not limited to a specific territory and operates on a national platform under the guidance and direct supervision of the National Director of Clinical Outreach.
Essential Job Functions:
- Becomes an expert in Discovery Behavioral Health’s business entities, service lines and populations served
- Works closely with senior staff on strategic business initiatives
- Creates and executes account plans and strategies to grow relationships
- Conducts ongoing research and information gathering to understand client organizational structure, business climate changes/stresses, buyer, influencer, and competitive positioning
- Contributes to consultative sessions with Discovery to improve client experience with our services
- Develops and analyzes business opportunities for coordination of resources
- Creates and executes strategic plans for growth initiatives in new markets
- Establishes strong, long-term client relationships
- Communicates with accounts on a regular basis and responds to specific inquiries
- Suggests solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
- Acts as the liaison between key customers and internal teams
- Monitors sales performance metrics in CRM
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or another related field
- Minimum of five years working in a business development position within Behavioral Healthcare
- Experience in a marketing, relationship management, and/or consultative account management within the healthcare industry
- Experience in interacting with, presenting to, and influencing all levels of leadership
- Experience in soliciting new potential strategic accounts and referents
- Successful track record in establishing and evolving relationships with decision-makers in health care/payer and/or provider organizations
- Intimate knowledge of business-to-business relations and strategic partnerships
