Content Creator (Full-Time) – Beauty & Lifestyle Brand

Job Summary

We’re looking for a creative, social media-savvy Full-Time Digital Content Creator to join our marketing team and help us tell our brand story through engaging videos and visual content. This role is responsible for appearing in, creating, editing, and publishing short-form and long-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms. You’ll work on-site in our creative studio, and sometimes on-location, collaborating with other members of our marketing team to create trendy curly hair care content that resonates with our customers.

Since 2014, TréLuxe has provided premium, plant-based, hair care products for the growing curly hair care market, while helping people to embrace their natural beauty. TréLuxe products are now sold in over 35 countries, and in over 2,000 store locations, and counting.

Key Responsibilities

Video & Content Creation

• Develop, appear in, film, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts), and YouTube
• Repurpose content across platforms using best practices
• Appear on camera, and assist behind-the-scenes in photo and video shoots

Trend Research & Social Strategy

• Stay up-to-date on TikTok and Instagram trends, audio, and formats
• Bring new content ideas to the team based on trend research and competitor analysis

Campaign Collaboration

• Collaborate with the team to develop content themes and marketing campaigns
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions to generate new campaign ideas
• Execute content aligned with brand tone and seasonal promotions

Influencer & UGC Research

• Help identify influencers and UGC creators for brand collaboration
• Perform influencer, social content, and brand research to support marketing goals
• Support influencer outreach efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in content creation, social media marketing, and video production
• Must have: curly, coily, or wavy hair
• Proficient in editing software like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut
• Comfortable being both on camera and behind the scenes
• Understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content formats and algorithm trends
• Highly organized, meets deadlines, and manages multiple projects at once
• Bonus: experience with Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
• Bonus: prior experience with beauty, CPG, or lifestyle brands

Work Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday–Friday
• Location: Mokena, IL (Chicago south suburbs)
• Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Central Time)
• Hybrid Schedule: 5 days/week
• 3–4 days/week in office (on-site creative studio)
• 1–2 days/week on location or work-from-home, depending on production needs
