Position Summary:

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity seeks an experienced, relationship-driven C****orporate Relationship Manager to steward, grow, and deepen engagement with our highest-value corporate partners. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of top-tier corporate accounts, securing continued and expanded investment, and aligning corporate engagement with Dallas Habitat’s mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

The Corporate Relationship Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate partners, ensuring an exceptional stewardship experience, maximizing partnership value, and identifying new strategic opportunities to strengthen corporate impact through sponsorship, employee engagement, and philanthropic investment.

This role will also work closely with the Board of Directors, key volunteers, and other community influencers to leverage networks, open doors to new opportunities, and advance Dallas Habitat’s corporate engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management and Stewardship

  • Serve as lead relationship manager for a portfolio of top corporate partners.
  • Develop and execute customized stewardship and upgrade and renewal plans for each account.
  • Manage the full corporate partnership lifecycle: cultivation, proposal development, solicitation, recognition, reporting, and upgrade/renewal.
  • Maintain regular communication with corporate partners through meetings, events, updates, and reports with a focus on in-person meetings.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (marketing, volunteer services, construction, finance) to ensure partnership deliverables are executed with excellence.

Revenue Growth and Strategy

  • Identify and secure opportunities to increase corporate giving, including sponsorship upgrades, event participation, volunteer engagement, matching gifts, cause marketing, and multi-year partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer and broader Development Team to design strategic corporate engagement initiatives aligned with organizational priorities, including Women Build Dallas, 40th Anniversary Celebration, and more.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing corporate partners’ networks.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate, timely records of all partner interactions, activities, proposals, and stewardship in the CRM database (Salesforce).
  • Track and report on revenue goals, renewals, upgrades, and stewardship milestones.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on account status, engagement levels, and revenue pipeline.

Event Support and Engagement

  • Partner with the CDO and development team to plan and execute corporate engagement opportunities, including build days, home dedications, recognition events, fundraising campaigns, and special events.
  • Attend and support events to steward partners and deepen relationships as needed (some occasional evenings or weekends required).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in corporate fundraising, account management, business development, or nonprofit development roles.
  • Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of high-level accounts and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage and inspire corporate executives, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, initiative, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM databases (Salesforce experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
