Decision Tactical is Florida’s most immersive tactical training and entertainment facility—combining the adrenaline of SWAT-style scenarios with the accessibility of a public experience center. From everyday civilians and tourists to elite law enforcement, our 43,000 sq. ft. facility trains minds under pressure. We’re growing fast and need a strategic, AI-forward marketing leader to drive that growth across local, tourist, and event markets.
Role Summary
We’re seeking a hands-on, data-driven Director of Marketing who can set strategy, lead a small team, and maximize the power of AI tools to scale Decision Tactical’s reach. This role oversees all aspects of demand generation, brand growth, and conversion performance—across three key markets:
- Tourists visiting the Orlando area
- Local general public (civilian & enthusiast traffic)
- Corporate and law enforcement event clients
You must be comfortable blending strategic thinking with tactical execution and managing a lean, AI-assisted team to outperform large teams with larger budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Own the full-funnel marketing strategy (awareness to conversion to retention)
- Translate business goals into targeted, measurable marketing campaigns
- Lead a nimble team of 3–5 people plus external contractors/vendors
- Report directly to the CEO with clear performance metrics and impact updates
Growth Marketing & AI-Driven Campaigns
- Oversee performance marketing across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Direct the use of AI platforms (ADXL, Artisan AI, Smartly.io, 11x) to scale creative output and campaign testing
- Manage budgets, CAC, ROAS, and LTV metrics to optimize spend
Content, Brand, and Experience
- Guide brand messaging and tone across all channels (web, email, social, print)
- Ensure video, graphic, and written content aligns with audience segments
- Partner with team to generate high-conversion ads and organic content using AI and UGC
Analytics & Optimization
- Define KPIs across channels; lead reporting using GA4, Qlik, CRM dashboards
- Leverage AI and automation for A/B testing, funnel analysis, and remarketing
- Improve visibility and attribution across Odoo CRM, Bokun booking, and WordPress site
Event, Partner, and Local Marketing
- Promote and optimize in-house events and group bookings
- Drive strategic partnerships with hotels, convention bureaus, local influencers
- Oversee listing and content strategy across platforms like Eventbrite, Fever, Google Events, and local tourism sites
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated experience with AI-enhanced marketing tools and automation
- Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
- Solid understanding of data tracking, marketing attribution, and funnel performance
- Proven ability to lead small teams and wear multiple hats effectively
Preferred Experience
- Experience in tourism, attractions, entertainment, or tactical training sectors
- Familiarity with tools like Odoo, Bokun, WordPress, Zapier, and Qlik Sense
- Strong portfolio showing integrated campaigns and growth outcomes
- Comfort with rapid testing and iteration using AI-generated content
