About the job

The full time Earned Media Planner position will

work closely with other members of the Earned Media, Owned Social and Public Relations teams developing and implementing earned media plans, including influencer campaign planning, execution and reporting, that deliver against key performance metrics for a highly respected automotive client.

The Earned Media Planner will help develop and implement strategies that further amplify programs and initiatives supporting S&S’s campaign, partnership and event efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing the reporting metrics for Earned Media campaign results.

Candidate experience/skills should include

  • B.A./B.S. Degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in earned media, influencer marketing, account management or social media planning and execution
  • Understand social media fundamentals and basic planning principles
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing across key social platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of Social platforms and Influencer partners such as Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Captiv8, CreatorIQ, Upfluence, designed
  • Understand influencer metrics (impressions, reach, engagements) to inform planning and interpret the data for recaps / quarterly reports with results and key learnings

Roles and Responsibilities include

  • Conduct strategic planning, manage implementation and optimization based on client strategy and objectives for various media campaign initiative
  • Support team in developing, evaluating and implementing integrated programs including influencer campaigns and custom content partnerships
  • Generate and/or evaluate and expand custom programs proposed internally and by partners based on campaign initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment. Oversee program execution by managing deadlines, facilitating communication, and fostering collaboration to drive successful outcomes
  • Research/vet influencer talent options and pull recap metrics from monitoring platforms
  • Cross collaboration internally (across departments such as account, strategy, creative, project management and analytics) and externally (media partners, clients, influencer agency partners)
  • Manage campaign budgets and actualizations on monthly and ad-hoc basis
  • Provide Media POVs upon request including relevant rationale
  • Stay up to date with recent social landscape trends, influencer marketing trends and new opportunities
  • Successfully prioritize work and projects to meet clients’ needs
