Position Summary:
As an Account Executive for StoredTech, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities. Leveraging your expertise in managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and other technology offerings, you will cultivate relationships with potential clients, understand their business needs, and propose tailored solutions to address their challenges. Your primary objective will be to meet and exceed sales targets while providing client delight and fostering long-term partnerships with clients. Collaborating closely with our technical teams, you will ensure seamless handover of accounts, maintaining a deep understanding of our services to effectively articulate their value proposition to prospects. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize potential clients within target industries and market segments.
- Utilize various channels such as networking events, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to generate leads.
- Research and stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and potential client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at prospective client organizations.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand clients' business challenges, goals, and technology requirements.
- Tailor sales presentations and proposals to demonstrate how the MSP's services can address specific client needs and add value to their business.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and quotas.
- Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines using CRM tools.
- Drive New Logo sales with a 'hunter' mindset, proactively identifying new business opportunities.
- Build a qualified pipeline through prospecting, industry event participation, and marketing engagements.
- Develop a sales strategy for the assigned territory, focused on long-term growth.
- Apply a thorough understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to execute a repeatable sales process.
- Facilitate sales opportunities by leading cross-functional teams and coordinating internal and external resources needed to manage the sales process.
- Exhibit a strong desire to build something from the ground up, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
- Perform any additional job duties as requested by management to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and other technology offerings provided by the MSP.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and effectively communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in consultative selling techniques, solution selling, and managing complex sales cycles.
- Strong networking skills to identify and cultivate new business opportunities through referrals and industry connections.
- Ability to understand market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape to develop effective sales strategies.
- Strategic planning skills to prioritize sales efforts and focus on high-potential opportunities.
- Resilience to handle rejection and overcome obstacles in the sales process.
- Persistence to follow up with leads, overcome objections, and close deals. - Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple prospects and sales activities concurrently.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, client requirements, and internal processes.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in sales and marketing.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of successful sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the IT services, technology, or related industries.
- Experience selling managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, or related technology offerings.
- Familiarity with the MSP business model, including recurring revenue streams and service-level agreements (SLAs), is advantageous.
- Experience with consultative selling techniques, solution selling, and managing complex sales cycles is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other sales technology to manage leads, pipelines, and forecasts.
- Relevant certifications such as sales training programs, ITIL, CompTIA, or vendor-specific certifications related to managed services and cloud solutions are beneficial but not required.
