Job Overview
Budr Cannabis is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Field Marketing Specialist to help execute our marketing and community outreach efforts across multiple locations, including Stratford, Danbury, Tolland, West Hartford, and Yonkers, NY—plus an additional four locations by the end of 2025. This candidate will primarily focus on 2-3 markets and support the team with initiatives on a case-by-case basis in other markets. The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Marketing and Community Outreach in various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of local events, partnership development, and community engagement. This is a full-time role with flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend events.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Lead Generation: Support in identifying and sourcing potential partnerships with local businesses, event organizers, and industry stakeholders as directed by the Marketing and Community Outreach Specialist. Help develop and maintain a pipeline of outreach opportunities that support community-based marketing strategies.
• Event Coordination Support: Aid in the planning, organization, and on-site execution of grand openings, pop-ups, and community outreach events. Assist with logistics such as setup, breakdown, and customer engagement while ensuring each event reflects the Budr brand.
• Networking Assistance: Help nurture relationships within the cannabis industry and related sectors, including local media, influencers, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders. Represent Budr Cannabis professionally at networking events and meetings to expand local visibility.
• Support for Community Engagement: Assist in attending and staffing pop-up events, in-store activations, and external opportunities. Engage with customers and the public to promote Budr’s mission, offerings, and values in an approachable and informative manner.
• Travel & Deliverables: Travel across the state and to Yonkers, NY to drop off promotional materials, conduct on-site visits, execute field marketing campaigns, and assist with meetings or community research.
• Coordination with Marketing Team: Liaise with the social media and internal marketing teams to support campaign execution and ensure branding and messaging are consistent across all platforms and locations.
• Event Participation: Represent Budr Cannabis at events and activations, providing on-the-ground support, helping with setup, giveaways, data capture, and general customer interaction.

Requirements

• Availability to work 5 days per week, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
• Comfortable working in a support role, taking direction, and helping execute tasks.
• Ability to travel across Connecticut and Yonkers, NY.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take direction and manage tasks independently.
• Familiarity with the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.
• Access to a personal vehicle for travel (note: mileage is not reimbursed).

Job Type: Full-time
