Position Summary
Own the full-funnel marketing engine for a high-growth home-improvement company with a growing regional footprint. You will drive digital demand-gen (PPC focus), elevate the brand, optimize web and local-SEO performance, and build a multi-disciplinary marketing and appointment team—all with a relentless focus on revenue, ROI, and an exceptional consumer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Integrated Strategy & Planning
- Build and execute a unified 6-, 12-, and 24-month marketing roadmap covering digital, offline, brand, and content initiatives that ladder up to revenue targets.
- Translate market, consumer, and competitive insights into actionable campaign plans.
Website, SEO & CRO
- Own strategy for all local-branch sites: UX, information architecture, on-page SEO, schema, and conversion funnels.
- Deliver a robust local-SEO roadmap (keyword research, citations, landing-page hierarchy) to dominate organic rankings and drive qualified traffic.
- Lead continuous CRO testing (A/B, multivariate) to raise conversion rates at every stage of the funnel.
PPC / Paid Media
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid-search (Google & Microsoft Ads), paid-social, display, and retargeting campaigns with disciplined CPL, CPA, and ROAS goals.
- Own keyword strategy, bid management, audience segmentation, creative testing, and budget allocation for all PPC channels.
- Maintain rigorous testing cadences, leveraging first-party data and AI/automation features to maximize efficiency.
Lead Generation & Multi-Channel Campaigns
- Orchestrate integrated demand-gen programs across email, direct mail, influencer/affiliate, trade publications, and community events.
- Build full-funnel nurture sequences that align Marketing and Sales around strategic and revenue goals.
Brand & Content Development
- Ensure a unified brand voice and visual identity across web, social, print, and in-home sales collateral.
- Oversee creation of brochures, presentations, videos, and other sales-enablement tools.
Market & Consumer Insights
- Monitor industry trends, buyer behavior, and competitor moves; translate insights into new product or market-expansion opportunities.
Analytics & Reporting
- Define KPIs, build dashboards (GA4, Looker/Data Studio, CRM), and present weekly/monthly performance read-outs; adjust spend and tactics by data-backed insights.
Budget, Vendor & Event Management
- Own the marketing P&L, ensuring every dollar spent drives measurable impact.
- Source, brief, and manage agencies, contractors, and mar-tech vendors.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing, events and appointment team leaders.
- Partner seamlessly with Sales, Product/Operations, and Customer Service to deliver a frictionless customer journey and closed-loop feedback.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 7+ yrs leading B2C website/UX & digital-marketing programs; 5+ yrs managing teams.
- Proven track record in PPC: keyword strategy, bid automation, audience builds, and budget optimization delivering CPL/ROAS targets.
- Deep expertise across Google Ads, GA4, SEO tools (SEMrush/Moz), CRM & marketing-automation platforms, and A/B testing suites.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling ability; comfortable reviewing or producing ad creative, landing pages, and promotional materials.
- Analytical and detail-oriented: advanced Excel/Sheets skills; comfortable with SQL or BI dashboards a plus.
Nice-to-Have
- MBA or advanced marketing certification.
- Experience scaling demand-gen across multi-location or branch networks.
- Hands-on experience with graphic design or video editing tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, Canva).
- Familiarity with direct-mail or home-services mass-media (OTT, cable, radio) buying.
Success Metrics
- Lead Targets: Qualified leads & CPL goals consistently met or beaten.
- PPC Performance: ≥ 8:1 ROAS (or goal equivalent) across paid-media portfolio.
- Organic Growth: YoY increases in non-brand organic traffic, ranking keywords, and local 3-pack presence.
- Conversion Rates: Continuous CRO gains on primary website and landing pages.
- Budget Efficiency: Marketing spend maintained within plan while hitting growth KPIs.
- Team Engagement: High retention, clear career development paths, and cross-functional praise for marketing support.
