Position Summary
We are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Content Manager to lead our online presence and engagement efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the power of storytelling, and can effectively communicate Foster Love’s mission through various digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement, awareness, and donor support.
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (including graphics, videos, and written posts) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
- Plan and schedule social media posts using content management tools.
- Monitor analytics and performance metrics to track growth and engagement, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster an active online community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote campaigns, fundraising initiatives, events, and volunteer opportunities.
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Foster Love at the forefront of digital engagement.
- Work with influencers, brand partners, and ambassadors to expand reach and impact.
- Ensure all content aligns with Foster Love’s mission, branding, and voice.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, nonprofit, or organization.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with an ability to convey emotion and impact.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing software.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
- Understanding of digital analytics, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Analytics, to track engagement and optimize content performance.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for advocacy, social causes, or working with underserved communities.
- Current with social media and design trends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
