This part-time Marketing Assistant position will work closely with the Marketing Manager to help increase the company’s brand value, identity, and communication with its audience. It is a crucial role that requires an in-depth understanding of the company’s services, workflow, clients’ end-to-end experience, with the ability to tap into the online community’s general trend and interest. This position requires someone who is organized, detailed, and able to juggle various projects and deadlines.
Reponsibilities
- Learn and understand social media channels and how to leverage them for various campaigns
- Assist on influencer campaign strategy
- Develop, pitch, and execute creative social media campaigns with the marketing team
- Have a finger on the pulse of current health & wellness trends to identify current trends, where the company is excelling, and where it can potentially grow
- Develop analytical skills to understand and help develop content based on analytics
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work creatively and collaboratively
- Able to adapt and adjust projects by analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and deadlines
- Work with the marketing team to develop and maintain consistent brand identity and voice, strategic storytelling, create and curate engaging content and use data to optimize the company’s online presence
- Monitor engagement metrics, use data to gather insights, create and implement a strategy, and report on results
- Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge success/failure of posts and campaigns
- Be knowledgeable of the company’s offerings and values to generate social media campaigns for special events, partnerships, and push growing services
- Help coordinate with influencers and creators to promote brand awareness and value
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
- Help the marketing team respond to comments and DMs on social platforms
- Assist with creating and editing short-form content
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience editing digital content not required, but must have willingness to learn new tools and skills to grow in this area
Qualifications
- Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with marketing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred.
- Knowledge of social media marketing strategies and tools.
- Understanding of SEO techniques and their application in content creation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
