About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Branding Strategist / Head of Brand & Growth Marketing
to drive our next stage of growth, with a strong focus on PLG (Product-Led Growth) . This is a high-impact role for someone who can operate at both a strategic and execution level—someone who understands how to build an aspirational brand while also delivering measurable performance results.
You will own our online marketing strategy across founder branding, company and product branding, performance marketing, and budget planning. You will work closely with the CRO and founding team to shape how we are perceived in the U.S. market and to turn brand into a real growth engine.
What You’ll Do
1) Founder Branding
Build and elevate the founder’s profile in the U.S. market as a credible, visionary voice in AI and product innovation
Lead PR, podcast outreach, media placements, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership initiatives
Develop a clear founder narrative that resonates with customers, partners, and investors
Partner with the founder to create high-quality content for interviews, social media, and public appearances
2) Company & Product Branding
Shape and strengthen the company’s overall brand positioning and market perception
Build a differentiated brand narrative that connects product value with long-term company vision
Ensure consistency across messaging, website, campaigns, product launches, and external communications
Help define how the company and product are presented to the U.S. market
3) Performance Marketing
Own and execute online growth initiatives with measurable business impact
Manage paid media, digital campaigns, influencer/KOL partnerships, and other acquisition channels
Design experiments and growth programs that support PLG, user acquisition, activation, and conversion
Track performance closely and optimize based on data, ROI, and business priorities
4) Budget Planning & Execution
Build and manage the Q2 online marketing budget and channel allocation plan
Make clear, high-conviction decisions on where to invest and how to maximize returns
Balance brand-building initiatives with performance-driven campaigns
Report regularly on budget efficiency, outcomes, and learnings
What We’re Looking For
5-8 years of experience in brand marketing, growth marketing, performance marketing, or integrated marketing leadership roles
Proven ability to operate across both brand and performance —you know how to build perception and how to measure outcomes
Extremely hands-on : you are not just a strategist, but also a builder and operator who can execute quickly
Strong understanding of PLG or experience supporting product-led user growth
Deep familiarity with the U.S. market , including local media, creator, and marketing ecosystems
Strong executive presence, communication, and storytelling skills
Comfortable acting as a public-facing representative of the company when needed
Experienced in using modern marketing, analytics, and AI productivity tools to move fast and scale output
Ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, growth, product, and sales teams
Based in San Francisco or open to frequent collaboration/travel between the U.S. and China
Nice to Have
Experience in an AI company or another fast-scaling technology company
Existing relationships with U.S. media, podcast hosts, creators, or industry communities
Personal creator presence on social platforms, especially X
Experience building founder-led or executive-led brand programs from the ground up
Comfortable appearing on camera and creating content directly
