Video Content & YouTube Manager

Attorneys For Freedom is seeking a Video Content & YouTube Manager to own and scale our video content engine across YouTube and digital channels.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, production, and performance, working directly with attorneys, leadership, and the creative team to build a high-impact content platform that drives brand, audience growth, and client acquisition.

We are building a premium, high-performance marketing organization, and this role is critical to that vision.

What You’ll Own:

Own the YouTube channel end-to-end

• Content strategy, publishing cadence, performance, and growth
• Drive subscriber growth, watch time, and lead generation

Lead video content strategy

• Develop weekly content roadmap aligned to business priorities
• Identify high-impact topics, formats, and series

Work directly with attorneys

• Prep, coach, and guide attorneys for on-camera performance
• Translate legal expertise into compelling, digestible content

Storyboard and produce content

• Build outlines, hooks, and narrative structure for videos
• Ensure each video is optimized for retention and engagement

Partner with Creative Director + A/V team

• Collaborate on production, editing, and final delivery
• Ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment

Optimize video performance

• Titles, thumbnails, retention, CTR, SEO, and distribution
• Analyze performance and continuously improve content

Own publishing and distribution

• YouTube, social, and cross-platform rollout
• Ensure content is leveraged across all channels

What Success Looks Like:

• Consistent cadence of 1+ video per week
• Build and maintain a 10+ video content backlog
• Measurable growth in:
• - Subscribers
• - Watch time
• - Engagement
• - Leads driven from video
• Establish AOR as a category leader in legal content on YouTube

Requirements:

• 4+ years in video content, YouTube, or digital media
• Proven experience growing a YouTube channel or video platform
• Strong understanding of:
• - YouTube algorithm
• - Retention strategies
• - Thumbnails, titles, and hooks
• Experience working cross-functionally with:
• - Creative teams
• - Talent/on-camera personalities
• Strong storytelling and content instincts
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on

Preferred:

• Experience in performance marketing or lead generation
• Experience working with influencers or talent
• Background in legal, media, or high-trust industries
• Familiarity with tools like vidIQ, TubeBuddy, Adobe Suite

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
