Job Summary:

The Social Media & Content Specialist is a creative and strategic storyteller responsible for building brand presence and driving engagement across all digital platforms for multiple brands. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and will regularly need to interact with creative teams, product managers as well as senior leadership. This role sits at the intersection of strategy & analytics, design, and community management, requiring a candidate who can translate complex brand goals into compelling, platform-specific content and be able to report on performance. You will engage our target audiences across our customer and consumer-facing brands through traditional social media channels and explore emerging platforms while working closely with our entire marketing team on creative and content.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with broader marketing objectives. This includes writing social or website blog copy, producing short-form video (Reels/TikToks), and designing basic graphics.
  • Platform Management: Oversee daily operations across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Community Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a positive community and improve brand sentiment.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify and partner with influencers or ambassadors whose audience demographics, aesthetic, and values align with the brand to ensure authentic product integration.
  • Performance Analysis: Track key metrics (engagement rates, CTR, follower growth) and provide monthly reports with actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry news to ensure the brand remains relevant and innovative.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider marketing team to support product launches, seasonal promotions, and lead-generation efforts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in social media management or digital content creation (agency or in-house).
  • Creative Suite: Proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or CapCut for high-quality visual storytelling.
  • Copywriting: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to pivot between professional thought leadership and casual, engaging social copy.
  • Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Uberall, HeyOrca, Sprout Social, etc.) as well as native platform functions and analytics.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • Communication: Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally with corporate and field personnel to develop, foster and execute programs for various market initiatives.
  • Occasional travel to our Louisiana Headquarters and seasonal shows or events
