Position Summary:

The Senior Social Media Specialist will elevate Catalent’s brand credibility, and commercial pipeline influence through strategic, insight-driven social media- transforming capabilities into compelling, trust-building narratives that resonate and attracts emerging and established wellness brands—positioning Catalent as the partner behind the most exciting products in the market. Partner with Creative and Marketing Operations team on content and social media marketing strategies that drive goals of awareness, engagement, and leads. Analyze performance metrics, staying in step with today’s social industry trends, and providing data-driven insights to continually enhance our social media footprint. Scope may go beyond Wellness based on business needs.

The Role:

  • Content Creation and Brand Management:
    • Provide guidance on type of content relevant for the individual channels.
    • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and Central Team as needed to create content that highlights the company's expertise, achievements, and thought leadership.
    • Own corporate social media strategy and generate engaging and industry-relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to You Tube, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Foster and grow an active and engaged social media community.
    • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preference.
    • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and foster customer engagement.
  • Campaign Execution:
    • Working with Business units to build out plans for campaign creation in Salesforce.
    • Organize and maintain our social calendar associated with certain platforms as mentioned above, including scheduling and publishing social content.
    • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote specific product offerings and other initiatives.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Define, track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the success of campaigns and overall social media presence.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to management, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative Activities
    • Work alongside PM’s and SME’s to help create content/events that attracts these audiences.
    • Project manage stakeholder requests and ensure alignment with broader company and team objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing
  • 3-5 years of experience working on digital and social campaigns on client-side or agency
  • Proven success in building and executing campaigns across all social media platforms
  • Knowledge of the evolving social media industry including new and emerging social and influencer platforms
  • Working knowledge of social listening tools
  • Expert User of Social Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
