About the job

Marketing Manager – Rooftop Venue (Atomic Hospitality)

Full-Time | Chicago, IL | On-Site

About the Role

Atomic Hospitality is looking for a hands-on, creative, and organized Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day marketing efforts for a prominent rooftop property in our portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to move quickly, think strategically, and bring fresh ideas to the table, especially when it comes to nightlife, dining, events, and tourism.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director and venue leadership to develop and carry out campaigns that drive foot traffic, boost reservations, and build long-term brand awareness. The position also involves working regularly with nearby hotels and convention partners to help capture local, national, and tourist-driven audiences.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Planning & Execution

● Support the development and execution of seasonal and event-based marketing strategies that align with the venue’s goals.

● Help identify opportunities tied to the city calendar, think big events, tourism waves, or convention schedules, and plan accordingly.

● Run regular marketing check-ins with the venue team to keep everyone aligned and on track.

Campaign & Content Development

● Manage day-to-day execution of promotions, both online and in-venue.

● Coordinate with designers, printers, and creative partners to make sure all materials (flyers, menus, signage, etc.) are accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.

● Keep an eye on deadlines and project flow, ensuring that everything moves smoothly from concept to launch.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

● Own the venue’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), planning content, writing copy, scheduling posts, and engaging with guests online.

● Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and influencers to keep content fresh and relevant.

● Regularly audit websites and listings to make sure all info is accurate and guest-friendly.

● Track performance and use real data to make smart, timely adjustments.

Email Marketing

● Build and send out weekly and event-specific emails.

● Segment audiences, test different approaches, and fine-tune content based on what’s working.

● Measure performance and refine strategy to keep open rates and engagement moving in the right direction.

Events & Local Partnerships

● Help promote weekly programming and special events, whether it’s DJs, themed nights, or private events.

● Work closely with hotel partners and a nearby convention center to develop collaborative promotions and drive new guest traffic.

● Manage influencer relationships and make sure content is captured, shared, and tagged appropriately.

Analytics & Reporting

● Pull monthly data from social, email, web traffic, and reservation platforms. ● Organize and present performance metrics, offering clear takeaways and recommendations for what’s next.

● Use data to support smarter planning, not just reporting for reporting’s sake. What

We’re Looking For

● 2–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or events. ● A solid grasp of social media trends, especially when it comes to hospitality and nightlife.

● Comfortable juggling multiple projects, managing deadlines, and pivoting quickly when needed.

● Experience with platforms like Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, OpenTable, and Canva or Adobe.

● Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a good eye for content.

● Willingness to work nights and weekends for events or content capture.
