Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Role Summary:

Seeking a creative and proactive marketing professional to manage social media, drive steady foot traffic, build community awareness, and promote unique experiences at Frisco Kava Bar over a 30–60 days engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute short and long term marketing strategies to drive daily foot traffic and build local buzz
• Create and schedule engaging social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google, create flyer and post on all platforms
• Promote “Talent Night” Music Bingo, “All-You-Can-Drink Kava Wednesdays” and all events to increase weekly attendance
• Find and engage target audiences (Sober community, College students, Vegans, Wellness seekers, Polynesian Community, Kava Community etc.)
• Collaborate with the team to create unique and seasonal Kava mocktail specials
• Design promotional materials (flyers, stories, graphics) using Canva or similar tools
• Run local outreach efforts (Colleges, Gyms, Wellness centers, Coffee shops, Hawaiian restaurants, Events)
• Manage and grow text/email subscriber lists
• Identify and engage local micro-influencers and ambassadors for short-term partnerships
• Track and report on traffic, engagement, and campaign performance

Ideal Candidate:

• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, social media, event planning or promotions (food & beverage or nightlife preferred)
• Proven track record of success with work samples
• Strong content creation and writing skills
• Ideal for emerging influencers or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on marketing experience
• Familiar with Frisco/DFW area and local community trends
• Passionate about wellness, alternative lifestyles, or sober social spaces
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and bring creative ideas to life
• Experience with Canva, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and social growth strategies
• Bonus: Experience promoting events or working in the beverage industry

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
