The Opportunity

A multi-site manufacturer is looking for a Lead HR Business Partner who operates less like a support function and more like a trusted advisor to the business. You'll work directly with leaders across production and commercial teams — influencing decisions, driving performance, and building the kind of HR credibility that earns a seat at the table without having to ask for one.

What You'll Own

  • Strategic partnership with leaders at all levels — org design, workforce planning, succession, and talent development
  • Employee relations: coaching, conflict resolution, and internal investigations when needed
  • Performance management programs from design to execution
  • Talent assessment and identification of critical roles across the organization
  • Cross-functional collaboration with HR colleagues in comp, benefits, recruiting, L&D, and compliance
  • Facilitating trainings, department meetings, and employee-facing HR initiatives
  • Exit interview analysis translated into actionable recommendations

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong HRBP track record
  • Background in manufacturing or similarly complex, fast-moving environments
  • Deep expertise in employee relations, organizational design, and succession planning
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment law — FMLA, ADA, wage and hour
  • Strong influencer who can coach a frontline supervisor and advise a senior leader in the same afternoon
  • Project management chops and comfort leading cross-functional HR initiatives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
