As a Lead, Creative Producer, you’ll be a driving force in Target Creative by bringing the creative vision to life from concept through post-production and delivery. You are an experienced, possibility-oriented leader who embraces and excels in the opportunity to engage, ideate and guide teams to expert quality content production. You will play a leadership role in establishing strategies for achieving team goals that align to the broader Target Creative vision and driving successful outcomes.
You will also lead end-to-end production strategy, direction and execution for your assigned areas of business that encompass all channels and mediums. You will develop and evolve production capabilities, both existing and new, while leading creative partner sourcing and negotiation strategies for the team. You will guide your teams by providing creative vendor recommendations that ensure successful project deliveries across a wide range of budgets and parameters. You will lead complex bodies of work focusing on planning and making strategic connections, with an enterprise, guest-focused mindset. You will lead, guide and inspire internal and external partners/agencies to meet and exceed business and marketing objectives.
Multi-tasking and collaborating with partners across creative and marketing disciplines, you are responsible for providing clear, actionable and timely communication while educating others and advocating for the creative process. You will leverage your expert knowledge of content production to guide and influence internal and external partners, making connections to expand what is possible while delivering consistency and efficiencies. Critical to this role is staying current with industry trends and understanding the production landscape outside of Target.

About You
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of industry or content production experience including video, photography, social, digital, and influencer marketing
- Expert knowledge of talent and production contracts, usage rights and licensing agreements
- Proven track record as a skilled negotiator and influential communicator
- Creative problem solver with proven success in navigating a creatively driven organization
- Ability to lead and drive projects and important team initiatives
- Ability to focus on both broad, strategic vision and critical details
- Demonstrated effectiveness in building relationships with internal and external cross-functional leaders and partners in the application of creative production standards
- Flexible to travel (weekends included)
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
