About Us:
MER presents the Ebonized Chill Experience, a multi-city music, art, and cultural festival featuring national recording artists, celebrity performers, workshops, and VIP experiences. We are growing rapidly and looking for a senior-level event operations and promotions professional to lead ticket sales, event execution, and city promoter teams.
Role Overview:
As the Head of Event Operations & Promotions, you will oversee the planning, promotion, and execution of all Ebonized Chill events. You will work closely with the Directors of Events Revenue and Sponsorships, manage city-based promoters, and ensure every event runs flawlessly while maximizing revenue and attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead event operations: vendor setup, AV/staging, artist coordination, registration, on-site staff.
- Drive ticket sales campaigns through social media, influencer marketing, and partnerships.
- Recruit, train, and manage city-specific promoters.
- Oversee the streaming/live content team.
- Coordinate with sponsors for activations and promotions.
- Ensure smooth event execution and high-quality attendee experiences.
- Travel to events up to 75% of the time (passport required).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in music festivals, concerts, or large-scale events.
- Strong background in event marketing, operations, and promotions.
- Ability to manage teams, budgets, and high-profile performers.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Compensation & Incentives:
- Recoverable Draw: $3,000 (recoupable after $5,000 in revenue).
- Revenue Share: 5–10% of event revenue.
- Bonuses:
- Revenue milestones beyond $20,000 – 2–3% bonus on incremental revenue.
- Surpassing attendance goals (500+ attendees) – $1,000 per city.
- Securing new sponsor partnerships – $500 per sponsor.
- Potential Earnings: $75,000–$150,000+ annually, with top performers exceeding $200,000.

Recoverable draw: $3,000 (activated only after you bring in $5,000 in revenue)
