What You’ll Do

A Social Media Specialist at The Power Group

leads the day-to-day management and execution of social media programs across assigned client accounts. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, owning communication, content execution, and plan management while collaborating with internal teams on strategy and creative development. 

The ideal candidate is creative, fast-paced and able to provide leadership and direction for account team members and clients.

This individual is both strategic and hands-on—capable of managing client relationships, executing campaigns, contributing to content ideation and staying ahead of trends to drive strong performance across platforms. 

Responsibilities  

  • Crafts and edits high-quality written social media content calendars
  • Shoot iPhone photo and video content for clients
  • Edit photo and video footage, creates unique Reels and TikToks
  • Helps outline tactics for quarterly social plans
  • Keeps team informed of what’s new in social media and digital
  • Researches and understands local and national influencers
  • Conducts influencer outreach for strategic social media accounts
  • Monitors and tracks influencer coverage to include in client quarterly reports; oversees development of final report
  • Provides mentorship, support and coaching to Social Media Coordinators, AACs and interns

 

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing and/or related fields including, advertising and communications
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or advertising (or other related field)
  • Experience with Rella and MoDash tools are a plus
  • Experience managing client relationships and leading day-to-day account execution
  • Experience with food & beverage, nonprofit and/or consumer brands preferred
  • Experience executing paid social campaigns preferred
