Social Media Coordinator
Full-time
New York, NY, US
$70k - $90k
About the job
Must be located in New York.
Pickle is a rental marketplace that aims to monetize the billions of underutilized assets sitting in consumers’ closets and brands’ inventory. Users can easily tap into shared closets within their community through flexible and/or on-demand delivery options. Our goal is to provide affordable and convenient access to quality items exactly when our users need them. We are starting with P2P clothing/accessories and expanding to other categories.
We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to support and execute Pickle’s presence across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond. This is a highly executional, content-heavy role focused on creating, posting, and engaging — while working closely with the Marketing Lead to bring ideas to life.
This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves fashion and internet culture, and is excited to create content daily — both in front of and behind the camera.
Salary range: $70K–$90K USD + benefits + equity

Requirements
You’ll be a fit for this role if…
You’re hands-on and creative:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media and/or content creation.
- Comfortable creating both video and static content — filming, editing, and posting.
- Confident on camera and able to create engaging, personality-driven content.
- Familiar with editing tools like CapCut and design tools like Canva.
- Strong eye for aesthetics and understanding of what performs on TikTok and Instagram.
You’re culturally plugged in:
- Deeply in tune with social media trends, fashion, and pop culture — you know what’s trending and how to act on it quickly.
- Understand how to turn trends into content that feels native, fun, and on-brand.
- Passionate about creators, internet culture, and the “why” behind what goes viral.
You’re community-obsessed:
- Excited to engage with users daily — responding to comments, DMs, and building relationships with the Pickle community.
- Understand how to build tone, inside jokes, and a sense of belonging online.
You’re organized and scrappy:
- Able to manage a high volume of content pieces per week and stay on top of posting schedules.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with constant creative output.
- Willing to jump in wherever needed — whether that’s filming last-minute content, covering an event, or jumping on a trend quickly.
Bonus Points
- Personal TikTok/Instagram presence or portfolio showcasing content you’ve created
- Experience supporting creator partnerships or influencer campaigns
- Interest in fashion, styling, or peer-to-peer marketplaces
- Experience creating UGC-style ads or performance-driven content
