About Society Sobriety

Society Sobriety is a NYC-based events company creating curated, alcohol-free social experiences for young professionals. Our events range from themed parties and dating mixers to wellness activations and community gatherings.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and proactive intern to support marketing outreach, event production, and brand growth. This role is perfect for someone interested in events, social media, and building a modern lifestyle brand.

Responsibilities:

Marketing & Outreach

  • Assist with brand outreach for partnerships and sponsorships
  • Help identify and connect with influencers, brands, and collaborators
  • Support email and DM campaigns

Events

  • Assist with planning and execution of events
  • Help coordinate vendors, activations, and on-site logistics
  • Support event setup, guest experience, and breakdown

Social Media & Branding

  • Assist in content creation (Reels, TikTok, IG posts)
  • Help brainstorm and execute content ideas
  • Support brand voice and visual consistency

Content & Writing

  • Draft newsletters and marketing emails
  • Assist with event descriptions and promotional copy

Operations

  • Maintain and update Excel sheets (guest lists, outreach tracking, etc.)
  • Assist with scheduling and organization of tasks and events

Qualifications:

  • Interest in events, marketing, or social media
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable using Google Sheets / Excel
  • Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok
  • NYC-based and available for in-person days

Bonus

  • Experience with event planning or brand partnerships
  • Creative eye for content and aesthetics
  • Interest in wellness, community-building, or alcohol-free spaces
