Arena, the global leader in competitive swimming, is looking for a Marketing Specialist

to

support day-to-day marketing initiatives while owning the execution and growth of our U.S.

social media presence. This role is ideal for an early-career marketer

who is both creative and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of social

media trends and a passion for sports or swimming.

The Marketing Specialist will assist across multiple marketing projects and lead the

planning, publishing, and performance tracking of arena USA’s social channels, with a key

focus on expanding our presence on emerging platforms such as TikTok.

Main activities & accountabilities:

  • Manage day-to-day publishing and community engagement across arena USA channels (IG, TikTok, FB, YT), leading the launch and scaling of new platforms, specifically TikTok.
  • Implement the U.S. social calendar aligned with global brand priorities, youth culture, and sports trends.
  • Monitor DMs/comments and track social metrics to provide optimization recommendations and competitive analysis.
  • Coordinate with athletes, creators, and internal teams to plan content shoots, manage post-production workflows, and organize asset libraries.
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions and short-form copy, ensuring consistent messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Support the coordination and distribution of influencer and athlete-generated content.
  • Assist the Brand Marketing Manager with seasonal campaigns, product launches, email marketing, and e-commerce merchandising initiatives.
  • Manage marketing timelines and brief graphic needs to designers, while coordinating requests between sales, product, and global teams.
  • Provide hands-on support for event marketing and swim meet activations when required.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing or social media (internships included) and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong command of Instagram and TikTok best practices, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Experience with social media management tools and basic photo/video editing (Adobe, CapCut) is a plus.
  • A background in consumer brands, e-commerce, or influencer/athlete marketing is preferred.
  • A proactive self-starter who is both creative and execution-focused, with the ability to spot emerging trends early.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A genuine passion for swimming, sports performance, and athlete culture.
