Located in Spokane Valley, WA, AFCO manufactures a wide range of livestock and specialty feeds including the LMF Feeds line and distributes top-quality pet foods and supplies. LMF Feeds is a trusted leader in equine nutrition, known for its premium, scientifically formulated feeds designed specifically for the Western United States. Our products are distributed through a strong dealer network, direct-to-consumer e-commerce, and regional distributors. Every formula is crafted with a commitment to quality, performance, and exceptional animal care.

Our LMF Feeds brand is looking for a Social Media Specialist with a strong background in social media, graphics, and video production to join our team. This role is great for someone who excels at creating engaging, shareable content and managing dynamic social media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and video production, with the ability to produce compelling videos that resonate with our audience across various platforms. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Plan, create, and schedule content that aligns with marketing goals, events, and campaigns.
  • Develop and execute creative social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and community growth.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster an engaged and loyal online community.
  • Stay current on social media trends, editing tools, and platform features to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality, on-brand video content, including promotional videos, behind-the-scenes footage, tutorials, and reels.
  • Produce graphical content for email marketing campaigns, sales team support, and dealer-facing materials.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on interpreting reports and utilizing data-driven insights.
  • Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.
  • Practice punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree or certificate in business, marketing, communications, graphic/video design, public relations, or a related field. (3+ years equivalent direct experience performing the above tasks may be considered in lieu of higher education.)
  • Experience managing and growing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Proficiency in video production, editing, and post-production.
  • Skilled in creating engaging short-form videos tailored to platform-specific formats.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Excellent creative and technical writing skills with a sharp eye for detail, visual composition, and storytelling.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics), including the ability to draw insights from performance metrics.
  • Graphic design experience using industry standard tools
  • Experience collaborating with influencers or sponsorship partnerships.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$26 - $34 hourly. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
