This core team member will establish and maintain lasting relationships with press, social media influencers, and other community stakeholders.
Description
This PR Manager will responsible for both strategy and execution of programs related to our global operations, supply chain, and other proactive and reactive corporate topics. ","responsibilities":" • Serve as a strategic partner to Apple’s Operations team and collaborate cross-functionally across the company.
Identify and develop proactive programs related to our global supply chain.
Cultivate strong relationships with media and creators across technology, business, and consumer landscapes.
Manage high profile proactive and reactive media opportunities.
Provide strategic direction to our international PR teams and work with them on proactive campaigns in their region.
Provide strategic counsel to product leaders and key stakeholders on external communications and media and creator engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred.
Deeply collaborative team-player capable of working effectively across functions and geographies while demonstrating high integrity and excellence.
Self-motivated and curious, with an ability to focus and execute, connect dots quickly, anticipate trends, see around corners, and strategically apply insights to strategy.
Experience with supply chains and/or manufacturing.
Agile and organized, able to balance multiple priority projects with meticulous attention to detail and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs; able to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Experience in media relations and have developed a network of media contacts in creative, tech, design and cultural platforms.
Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have resulted in meaningful impact.
Strong media judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability create new opportunities.
Capable of analyzing media coverage and sentiment, anticipating problems, and applying insights to the team’s work.
Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities as well as exceptional project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Superb attention to detail.
Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency, or corporate settings.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
