This role leads Advanced Hydration Commercial Operations focused on providing strategy, tactics, and support for the Field Sales Executional organization across our winning portfolio of brands- POWERADE, BODYARMOR, smartwater, and vitaminwater. The is the operational arm across the field teams ensuring a seamless execution to market operationally. A cross-functional strategic lead for the territory, this role will collaborate with internal departments, brand & shopper marketing, business insights, operations, finance, customer, and bottler sales teams to ensure all operations items are aligned and launched successfully to market. The Commercial Operations Director is responsible for facilitating commercial communication and alignment with Coca-Cola North America commercial leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Create tools and tactics for national merchandising strategy to maximize availability, brand platform growth and impactful retail execution
- Facilitate the creation of Advanced Hydration National LOS and Merchandising standards toolkit that aligns with Advanced Hydration’s strategic channel priorities
- Create and conceptualize key merchandising initiatives to provide increased and impactful retail availability for all Advanaced Hydration platforms (POS Innovation)
- Manage alignment & coordination with NAOU commercial teams on commercial strategy across the sports hydration portfolio coordinate the creation of all ops plans (customer facing and bottler facing ops plans)
- Lead the integration & synchronization of the Advanced Hydration commercial plans with the NAOU commercial teams including Operating Plans, Merchandising Standards, LOS/Merchandising Solutions, Innovation (product launches), Trimester Commercial Schedule
- Manage key sales and cross functional routines to drive execution and delivery of all customer, bottler, and company objectives (Triangle Offense)
- Provide strategic bottler & customer team support and driving alignment on all promotional activity, marketing and innovation plans including strategy, tactics, and execution requirements
- Supervise the internal trimester ops deck/pillar program planning process working cross-functionally with brand marketing, communications, creative, shopper marketing, business intelligence, partnerships, legal and senior leadership
- Oversee the end of month trade spend reconciliation process working cross functionally with finance and business planning
- Responsible for the management of the Commercial Operations Budget ($8M Annually)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 7+ years experience in Marketing Brand, Channel Strategy, Commercial or Field Sales experience required
- Previous experience dealing with Bottler partners, setting commercial strategy, beating competition, and developing business capabilities required
- Experience extracting and translating Nielsen/IRI data required
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of consumer and category drivers
- Reliable, hard-working & proactive team player with can-do attitude
- Creative thinker who can work independently
- Individual with excellent leadership capability, able to work in a networked environment, highly efficient communicator, and influencer at all levels
- Experience developing channel & retail tactics, digital, marketing programs and segmented commercial plans
- 25% travel required for territory

Pay Range $141,000 - $165,200
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered. Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage 30
