We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Marketing & Promotions Assistant to support the planning, promotion, and execution of high-energy events across food, culture, and community experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands how to bring people together through food, music, and storytelling, while also driving attendance through strong marketing and promotion.
What You’ll Do
Marketing & Promotion
- Promote events across social media, email, and local networks
- Support content creation for event marketing (flyers, posts, captions, reels)
- Build buzz before, during, and after events to increase attendance and engagement
- Partner with local influencers, creatives, and community groups to expand reach
Event Planning & Execution
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, pop-ups, festivals, and activations
- Manage timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site logistics
- Ensure smooth execution from setup to breakdown
Food & Beverage Coordination
- Coordinate food vendors, menus, and service flow
- Support inventory planning, ordering, and vendor communication
- Ensure quality and presentation align with brand standards
Talent & Entertainment
- Source and coordinate talent (DJs, performers, hosts, chefs, etc.)
- Manage bookings, run-of-show schedules, and talent logistics
- Support live event flow and audience experience
Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate venues, permits (if needed), and event requirements
- Oversee setup, staffing, and guest experience
- Troubleshoot issues in real-time during events
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, or event coordination
- Experience in the food & beverage industry (restaurants, pop-ups, catering, etc.)
- Strong understanding of event marketing and audience engagement
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
Bonus If You Have
- Experience in entertainment, nightlife, or cultural events
- Background in restaurant management or hospitality operations
- Existing network of vendors, talent, or creatives
- Experience managing events from concept to execution
