The Social Media Coordinator supports the execution of social media strategy across festival brands by assisting with daily publishing, community engagement, content coordination, and creator/influencer administration. This role works closely with the Senior Manager of Social Media to help manage the day-to-day operations of festival social channels and support onsite coverage during live events.Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in publishing daily social media content across multiple festival platforms in alignment with the social strategy developed by the Senior Manager of Social Media.
- Draft and edit social captions based on creative direction, campaign messaging, and brand voice guidelines.
- Manage community engagement across platforms including responding to comments, direct messages, and fan interactions in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
- Assist with TikTok and short-form video ideation, editing, and publishing.
- Coordinate content creator/influencer deliverables, including tracking content commitments, assisting with contract organization, and supporting communication with creators.
- Organize and maintain content creator/influencer contracts, invoices, and related documentation.
- Assist with processing and filing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submission, and alignment with internal accounting processes.
- Build and manage giveaway and sweepstakes landing pages, ensuring alignment with festival branding, campaign messaging, and promotional strategy.
- Assist in submitting creative requests and collaborate closely with graphic designers to bring social campaigns and assets to life.
- Proofread and quality check social assets, captions, and links prior to publishing to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and a seamless user experience.
Provide onsite social media support at festivals and live events, including assisting with posting, real-time engagement, and monitoring fan conversations.
- Assist with compiling social media reporting, engagement summaries, and performance insights as requested.
- Help maintain organization of content calendars, social assets, and operational workflows.
- Support the broader marketing and social media team with administrative and operational needs related to social media campaigns and partnerships.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the social media and marketing team.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience working in the music industry, live events, entertainment marketing, or related fields, with a focus on social media and digital marketing.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting social media channels for a brand, artist, venue, event, or media company.
- Strong familiarity with major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X, including best practices for engagement and short-form content.
- Experience creating or editing short-form video content for social platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write engaging captions and adapt to established brand voice and tone.
- Experience with community management, including responding to comments, direct messages, and fan engagement in a brand-safe and timely manner.
Familiarity with content creator partnerships, including tracking deliverables and assisting with campaign coordination.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple campaigns, creators, and social platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
- Experience using social media publishing tools, analytics dashboards, or content scheduling platforms is preferred.
Passion for live music, festivals, and fan communities is strongly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours during festivals and live events.
This position is based in Nashville, TN. This role requires Monday - Thursday in-office with Friday being remote.
