Job Overview
ALMA is seeking a hands-on Social Media & Marketing Manager to lead our brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, and digital channels. This role is responsible for content creation, storytelling, and driving real traffic into the restaurant and catering business.

This is not a desk job—this is a camera-in-hand, in-the-action role capturing food, energy, and culture daily. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead creative initiatives and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Content Creation (Core Focus)

  • Shoot and edit daily content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
  • Capture:
  • Fajitas hitting the grill
  • Margaritas pouring
  • Dining room energy + patio vibes
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and aesthetic for ALMA

Social Media Management

  • Plan and execute weekly content calendar
  • Post consistently across:
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • Facebook (secondary)
  • Engage with followers (comments, DMs, reviews)
  • Manage social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback for actionable insights.

Marketing & Growth

  • Develop promotions to drive:
  • Dine-in traffic
  • Catering sales
  • Events & seasonal pushes
  • Track performance (views, engagement, conversions)
  • Optimize content based on what works

Campaigns & Promotions

  • Launch campaigns like:
  • New menu items
  • Happy hour pushes
  • Holiday/event promotions
  • Coordinate with management on offers and messaging

Collaboration

  • Work directly with ownership/management
  • Coordinate with kitchen & bar team for content timing
  • Occasionally manage influencers or collaborations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in social media/content creation (restaurant preferred)
  • Strong skills in:
  • iPhone video + editing (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
  • Photography (food + lifestyle)
  • Understanding of:
  • Instagram & TikTok algorithms
  • What makes content go viral
  • Ability to work nights/weekends (peak restaurant hours)
  • Self-starter with creative instincts + execution speed

Pay: $47,254.81 - $56,909.02 per year
