We are seeking a marketing analytics specialist to support initiatives for the North America Marketing team at Motorola. This role is integral to driving data-driven decision making across the marketing function. Responsibilities include benchmarking, reporting, forecasting, developing dashboards, visualizing data, and providing actionable insights across media campaigns, partnerships, creative, PR and influencer marketing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing with a passion for data and analysis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic planning: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) & benchmarks to measure marketing effectiveness and guide decision making through data across media, partnerships, PR and influencers
  • Media campaign reporting: Partner with the media and ecommerce teams to track performance against benchmarks and optimize investments. Responsibilities also include ensuring proper tagging to track KPIs.
  • Partnership reporting: Collaborate with the Partnership team to track, analyze and report on partnership performance and evaluate potential opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Presentations: Create compelling presentations to the marketing team and leadership to present insights from analysis in an easy to understand manner.
  • Platforms/ tools/ dashboards: Develop and implement best-in-class measurement frameworks, tools, visualizations and technologies for marketing analytics. Work closely with IT teams to design data structure and manage data governance, troubleshoot any issues with existing platforms
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms
  • Maintain documentation for tracking, taxonomy, and reporting frameworks

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, GA4, Supermetrics Looker, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced functions, pivot tables)
  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Understanding of media metrics (CPM, CTR, ROAS, CAC, LTV)
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to uncovering insights
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL or Python/R for data analysis
  • Experience with attribution modeling or MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling)
  • Familiarity with tagging frameworks (GTM, pixels, UTM structures)
  • Experience with paid media platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.)
  • E-commerce analytics experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Statistics, or related field
  • 2+ years relevant working experience
