Position Overview
The Brand Ambassador is the primary face of Truth Traveler in the Branson, MO community, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, attractions, tourism partners, and the general public. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, generating referrals, and creating positive buzz within the local and regional market. The Brand Ambassador works under the direction of the Sales and Marketing Manager and plays a critical role in executing grassroots marketing initiatives, networking with key stakeholders, and representing the attraction at community events.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Act as a visible, approachable representative of Truth Traveler in the local market, promoting the attraction in a positive and professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local hotels, attractions, restaurants, retail businesses, and tourism boards to encourage cross-promotional opportunities.
- Regularly visit local partners to share materials, discuss promotions, and strengthen relationships.
- Attend local networking events, chamber of commerce meetings, and tourism association gatherings to represent Truth Traveler and seek out new partnership opportunities.
On-Site and Grassroots Marketing
- Distribute marketing materials (rack cards, flyers, special offer cards) to local businesses, visitor centers, and high-traffic tourist locations.
- Support seasonal promotions and special events by coordinating with the Sales and Marketing Manager to execute on-the-ground marketing efforts.
- Serve as a point of contact for local influencers and media representatives during on-site visits.
- Capture and share real-time photos, videos, and content from events and community activities for use in marketing channels.
- Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator to serve as both as a creative liaison and a back-up to ensure local social media goals are met.
Sales Support
- Assist in identifying and nurturing group sales leads from local organizations, schools, and tour operators.
- Support the Sales and Marketing Manager by collecting information from partners about potential group visits or promotional opportunities.
- Provide feedback from local partners to help inform sales strategies and improve marketing effectiveness.
- Assist with some administrative activities for reciprocals and resellers in coordination with the General Manager and Sales Manager.
Guest Experience Enhancement
- Act as a brand storyteller when engaging with potential guests, sharing key information about the attraction and its unique features.
- Answer questions and provide directions or recommendations to visitors, ensuring a warm and positive experience with the Truth Traveler brand even before they enter the attraction.
Reporting and Coordination
- Maintain a regular activity log of outreach efforts, meetings, and distribution routes.
- Provide weekly updates to the Sales and Marketing Manager on partnership activities, community feedback, and potential opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure outreach priorities align with overall marketing goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in marketing, hospitality, or tourism preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, sales, or marketing is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build relationships.
- Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable speaking to individuals and groups in public settings.
- Familiarity with the Pigeon Forge tourism market and local businesses is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays as needed.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
