The Orangetheory Fitness https://www.orangetheoryfitness.com team is looking for a Social Media Manager to join its marketing and operations team.

Our group owns and operates 45 California Orangetheory Fitness Studio franchises.

Experience/Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years practical experience in a social media marketing role
  • Digital savvy; understands and can execute a wide array of digital marketing tools
  • Well-versed in Meta platforms (X, TikTok, LI a plus)
  • Adept in Google Suite, Basecamp, Canva and popular CRM applications
  • Experience with Sprout Social or other social media management platforms
  • 4-year college degree

Job Description: Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Social Media Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage social media strategy which aligns with overall marketing objectives
  • Co-author an annual plan with goals, key initiatives and KPIs
  • Support brand and franchisee initiatives; creating, reposting, or aligning content
  • e.g.: member events, new product introductions, studio/regional event content
  • Pilot new ideas to extend reach and engagement (e.g. – influencer marketing, podcast, etc.)
  • Develop relationships/partnerships and campaigns with related organizations to extend community reach
  • e.g.: run clubs, mom groups, tourism boards, etc.
  • Actively manage the Social Media Coordinator (SMC) Program
  • Provide regular guidance, direction, self-serve solutions for studio SMCs
  • Provide on-boarding guidance and resources for new SMCs
  • Author, publish and manage monthly content calendars for SMC execution
  • Share/teach Sprout Social best practices
  • Create challenges, contests and other incentives to encourage participation
  • Ensure active communication including regular updates, monthly performance summaries
  • Develop and manage a content approval process that is timely and easy to execute
  • Track, audit and report levels of studio participation and compliance
  • Help to drive SMC accountability with reminders (also employ help from Regional Teams)
  • Work with Accounting to submit/review monthly studio compliance for SMC compensation
  • Maintain the health of all studio social media accounts
  • Assure all studio accounts are active, functional and properly branded
  • Effectively communicate with key stake holders on account status (studio managers, SMCs, RMMs)
  • Monitor sentiment, comments and provide timely responses
  • Seek assistance from Grove Marketing Team if needed

Graphic Design, Printed Material and Promotional Merchandise Responsibilities

  • Support studios, regional and HQ Teams with the design of graphic requests

(typically flyers, signage, banners)

  • Maintain an efficient process to collect requests and manage expectations
  • Maintain key messages and images, branding compliance
  • Clearly communicate timelines and delivery dates
  • Establish and maintain regional Canva accounts
  • Assure all accounts are active and functional
  • Manage access for all users, maintaining central log-in information
  • Provide clear communication to studios and regional teams on best practices
  • Develop self-serve templates to improve efficiency
  • Manage design and production of printed and promotional material with outside vendors

(typically signage, apparel, promotional items, holiday items, Convention materials, etc.)

  • Develop and maintain streamlined process to collect requests and manage expectations
  • Align key messages and images, branding compliance
  • Clearly communicate timelines and delivery dates

Other

  • Actively communicate with studio and regional teams (manager meetings, All Aspyr calls)
  • Assist with execution of regional marketing, community outreach or HQ events
