  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in social marketing, digital governance, or marketing operations.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience building and operationalizing global marketing standards across multiple regions or business units.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams in organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience embedding AI-enabled tools into marketing workflows.
  • Experience working with analysts and enjoys working with data.
  • Experience working with international teams.
  • Ability to translate strategy into repeatable systems that guide measurable business impact.
  • Ability to balance speed, experimentation, and governance.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a high number of stakeholders.

About the job

As a Global Group Social Standards and Enablement Manager, you will be responsible for scaling Google-Grade social excellence globally. You will operationalize proven systems and translate them into shared standards, governance frameworks, and playbooks that enable Product and Regional marketing teams to move faster with confidence. You will centralize guardrails, shifting governance from reactive approvals to proactive enablement. This role ensures that teams across Google can react to culture at speed while maintaining brand quality, trust, and safety. You will partner closely with social acceleration and intelligence and brand programming and rapid response leaders to scale what works across marketing, embedding AI-powered tools into real workflows.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $219,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Package social approaches into scalable systems, playbooks, and standards for global adoption.
  • Establish governance frameworks that enable response without increasing brand risk.
  • Lead adoption of unified social infrastructure and AI powered tools across product areas and regions.
  • Ensure influencer, brand safety, and measurement standards are embedded into global workflows.
  • Create feedback loops between product areas and regional teams to continuously refine and optimize systems.
