Glazed Donut Eatery is looking for someone creative, reliable, and a little chaotic (in the best way) to help bring our brand to life online.

This is NOT a sit-behind-a-computer job.

We want someone who can capture real moments, real people, and really good donuts.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and post daily content (TikTok + Instagram)
  • Develop and execute engaging social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments in the shop
  • Show off donuts, coffee, and team culture
  • Update our website (menu, events, basic edits)
  • Help grow our local following and bring people in
  • Create high-quality content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that align with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity, providing insights for ongoing strategy refinement.
  • Manage social media scheduling using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to ensure consistent posting and timely responses to audience interactions.
  • Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO purposes, increasing organic reach on search engines.
  • Maintain strong relationship management with influencers, partners, and community members to foster positive brand associations.

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Love social media and are really good with TikTok/Instagram
  • Are comfortable filming and being on camera
  • Have a good eye for content (what people actually want to watch)
  • Are reliable and can work independently
  • Can match a fun, energetic, slightly chaotic, people-first brand
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related roles with a portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in social listening tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and engagement management.
  • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
  • Experience with video editing software for creating engaging multimedia content.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices including keyword research and content optimization strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms to assess campaign performance.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and editing content for clarity and impact.

Pay:

  • $15 - $20/hr (with room to grow based on results)

Schedule:

  • Flexible (5–10 hours/week)
  • Some in-shop content filming required
  • Daily posts

Bonus if you:

  • Have basic website experience (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, etc.)
  • Love small businesses, coffee, or chaos
