We are seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our social media department and serve as the strategic engine behind client growth across social platforms. This individual will drive campaign ideation, oversee execution, and ensure ongoing optimization grounded in performance data. The role requires both creative leadership and operational discipline, with a clear mandate to elevate results, strengthen brand presence, and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive social media strategies for Tier 1 clients while ensuring alignment with creative, PR, and digital initiatives across the agency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Social Media Specialists, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on-brand, and optimized for performance.
  • Lead the development of social playbooks, influencer frameworks, and AI-driven resource guides to streamline team operations.

Campaign Development & Oversight

  • Direct the planning, packaging, and syndication of multi-channel campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, emerging platforms).
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Email Marketing team to ensure cross-channel alignment in tone, visuals, and cadence.
  • Oversee influencer marketing efforts, including sourcing, contracting, and campaign delivery for high-profile clients.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Lead the reporting process for Tier 1–Tier 3 clients, ensuring insights are data-driven and actionable.
  • Review campaign metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions) and optimize strategies across clients.
  • Drive innovation by piloting new social media tools, A/B testing formats, and experimenting with AI-supported content workflows.

Collaboration

  • Act as the hub between the social team and other departments (Creative, Email, SEO, Paid Media, PR).
  • Contribute social insights to agency-wide go-to-market strategies, particularly for larger Tier 1 accounts.
  • Ensure smooth project management through Basecamp and other internal platforms.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering measurable results in agency or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong background in social strategy development, influencer campaign management, and cross-channel planning.
  • Advanced knowledge of social media tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, native analytics) and design platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma).
  • Proficiency in paid social advertising (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing tools (ChatGPT, OpusClip, Neuron Writer) preferred.

Department-Level Contribution (KPIs)

  • Deliver 15–20% lift in engagement rates for Tier 1 clients annually.
  • Ensure 95% of campaigns are delivered on time and meet client approval on first iteration.
  • Lead 2+ influencer campaigns per year for Tier 1 clients.
  • Drive 90–95% client satisfaction benchmarks across Tier 1–3 accounts.
