As the Glamsquad Influencer + Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding our community of influencers and affiliates, in addition to supporting event initiatives.

You will report directly to the Social Media and Influencer Manager and will work with the cross-functional Marketing (Growth, Retention, Partnerships) and CE teams to execute said strategies and provide insights on performance results, opportunities and optimizations to achieve our goals.  

This role is perfect for a creative marketer who loves social media, influencers, community and  the beauty/lifestyle industries that enjoys a role that varies in its needs day-to-day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Influencer Relations Management

: Identify and manage the influencers the brand will partner with for its ambassador program and ongoing content needs. Oversee and manage all tactical logistics including but not limited to: prospecting, recruiting, onboarding, supporting appointment bookings, track and organize monthly content and postings, communication for brand updates (newsletter), and provide ongoing support/relationship building..

  • Gifting + VIP Bookings

: Support finding gifting opportunities, manage all tactical logistics surrounding booking requirements for services.

  • Community Management:

Nurture the potential and onboarded influencers and ambassadors, including but not limited to: respond to queries from current and potential influencers/ambassadors (including responding to comments and DMs), send newsletters/comms centering brand updates; invite them to brand activations; monitor, understand, identify influencer trends and identifying brand opportunities.

  • Event Marketing:

Own the social and cultural event calendar in all markets and identify those in which Glamsquad may activate in some capacity to gain more reach and/or social awareness and in turn social media coverage. Be available to attend necessary events to network, capture content for social media use and support logistics (set up, pro coordination, influencer relations).

  • Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of recommendations and findings from available data on effectiveness of affiliate/influencer activity to be shared all the way up to the executive level (weekly/monthly). Be agile with information to take proactive steps to adjusting based on informed reporting.

Required Skill Set

  • Minimum 1-2 years of influencer experience at a beauty, fashion, lifestyle or luxury brand (or similar category).
  • Have a passion for influencers, social media, culture and community building.
  • Experience in pulling metrics, analyzing, and making informed decisions based on this knowledge.
  • Ideally have experience and understanding with influencer management platforms including or similar to ShopMy, CreatorIQ and Awin.
  • Have a close attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to work in a multifaceted role working environment that is in a fast-growth period.
  • Strong efficiency and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Effective ability to problem-solve based on the needs of the brand and its respective partners and communities.
  • Ability to identify resource needs and manage expectations.

Salary Range:

$50K-$70K

Location:

Must be based in NYC and able to attend ~2 days in office per week and local events as needed. ~70% remote.
