The Social Media Manager will oversee the platform management and community engagement efforts for the Great Healthworks Portfolio of products, with a focus on the OmegaXL Brands line. The Social Media Manager will contribute to the ideation and execution of creating engaging organic social content. They will work collaboratively with the creative teams as well as Brand Managers to ensure that our content aligns with the overarching brand(s) vision and goals. Their focus will be to start organic conversations, create engaging social content, and nurture community culture through our company and sports team partnerships and events. The Social Media Manager will be pivotal in building audience communities by engaging beyond owned channels to grow reach.
This role is pivotal in transforming brand marketing messages into engaging content across various digital platforms. The Social Media Manager will work in tandem with the Brand Management team under the guidance of the Senior Social Media Manager. The position ensures that our brand's essence and marketing messages resonate effectively through compelling digital storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day scheduling, messaging, and monitoring for assigned brands and social channels.
- The Bi-lingual Social Media Associate will collaborate closely with brand management, graphics, producers, and influencer managers to craft compelling organic social content for social platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, aligning with the overarching brand strategy.
- Captures and creates social media content and performs basic social media editing
- Craft compelling copy that aligns with the brand persona and encourages engagement.
- Create and manage social content calendars to support the department’s overarching Marketing and assigned Brand’s Calendar.
- Ensure that content aligns with the brand's tone, voice, and visual guidelines across all platforms.
- Use social listening tools to insert the brand into relevant trending conversations in the industry.
- Remain up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that social strategies and content is optimized for each platform.
- Support with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives, including blog, storytelling, and content development, ensuring proper backlinking and content structuring to improve discoverability across AI-driven and search platforms for all assigned brands.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital communications, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in managing social media platforms and content for Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc.
- Understand brand voice and tone, specifically with the X platform.
- Demonstrated success in digital or social media strategy, translating brand marketing messages into engaging content.
- Experience collaborating closely with Brand Management and Digital teams to optimize content for brand awareness and engagement.
- Experience with planning, management, execution, and performance reporting on social platforms.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as work independently on projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Time management and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervisory experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, Capcut a plus
- Utilize AI tools and apps to create in-house content
- Proficiency in creating content for various digital platforms, with a deep understanding of their respective best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to be a self-starter that can take on tasks and projects and drive them to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear narratives for a wide range of stakeholder audiences.

- Ability to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands.
