About the job

About HYBE America

HYBE is an entertainment company, global lifestyle platform, and a holding company for multiple music labels. It is home to the global girl group KATSEYE, nominated for two Grammys this year; and Santos Bravos, the first Latin Pop boy group built using the K-pop methodology; amongst others. We are developing several new artists including a new boy band with Ryan Tedder and a new girl band under the HYBE x Geffen. HYBE has been building local subsidiaries/regions to “localize” its K-pop training & production system and develop talent for global releases. HYBE America is based out of Los Angeles and Mexico City.

About TRU Label - HYBE Latin America

TRU is the label behind Santos Bravos, HYBE’s first global Latin Pop boy band built using the K-pop methodology. The Marketing team builds and executes marketing, PR, and digital content strategy for Santos Bravos utilizing data-backed decision-making and story-telling. As a fast-scaling team, we require professionals that can seamlessly move between organizing and analysing marketing data, and delivering recommendation-first reporting to the wider artist team and C-suite.

Strategic Marketing Analyst

You will serve as the primary analytical marketing engine for Santos Bravos and the TRU team, translating performance data into actionable recommendations that drive growth. This includes managing weekly updates and real-time post-release evaluations for key marketing moments, as well as crafting the internal narrative around Santos Bravos, helping leadership and cross-functional partners understand the impact of decisions. The role is equal parts internal communications and marketing strategy, requiring both cultural fluency in contemporary music marketing and strong data storytelling.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica, Miami, or NYC office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Synthesis: Collect, organize, and analyze performance data from HYBE America’s data infrastructure, focused on key sources like streaming platforms, social media, advertising, and third-party tools (e.g. Luminate, Chartmetric, DSP dashboards) to inform a holistic view of artist and campaign performance.

  • Strategic Reporting: Serve as the central information hub for TRU and Santos Bravos. Create comprehensive weekly strategic progress reports, and immediate marketing impact reports around key timeline moments (like single releases, video/content drops, social campaigns) to HYBE America and Korean leadership teams. These reports should translate an array of raw data and important marketing metrics into cohesive updates, rich with context and rationale of what’s going well and what isn’t, as well as takeaways, and any suggestions or key decisions.

  • Rapid Response Analysis: Provide same-day analytical support for ad-hoc tactical inquiries to assist the artist team and executive leadership in high-stakes decision-making, including expanding or altering the scope of social and content campaigns based on what the data shows.

  • Benchmarking & Goal Setting: Proactively define performance benchmarks with the central Business Intelligence team and TRU leadership team. Document and regularly communicate progress towards benchmarks, and campaign goals to artist and executive leadership.

  • Executive Communication: Create and present narrative updates, informed by data and inclusive of strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the TRU artist team. Shape the ongoing internal narrative around Santos Bravos performance, helping cross-functional teams across HYBE understand the strategic direction and impact of marketing decisions.

  • Artist/Creative Advocate: Advocate Santos Bravos’ core audience and performance metrics in internal planning sessions to ensure marketing strategies are data-driven, and creative strategy remains aligned with existing benchmarks and long-term goals.

  • Maintain Cultural Awareness: Stay on top of cultural trends that impact fandom for Santos Bravos, their artistic peers, related genres, and the music industry as a whole. Stay tuned in to fan consumption trends across streaming platforms, social media, and the internet at large.
