About the job

Social Media Intern (25 hrs/week)

About Us

We’re a fast-growing wellness brand on a mission to make hydration healthier, simpler, and actually delicious. Our electrolytes are science-backed and powered by Coconut Water Powder and Pink Himalayan Salt. No added sugar, no artificial ingredients, no junk.

We believe great brands today are built on content and engagement: in comment sections, on TikTok, and through authentic storytelling, not just ads.

If you’re obsessed with snapping photos, taking short-form video, constantly saving content formats, and can explain to a Millennial why a video works (not just that it does), we’d love to chat.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who knows what’s trending, why brands get followers, and isn’t afraid to test and learn.

You’ll help us create, film, edit, and post TikTok and Instagram content while keeping a pulse on internet culture, creators, and what our community is actually talking about.

This role is strategy and tactical- using learnings from our past content as well as emerging trends, you’ll own the direction, execution, and performance reporting for our social channels. You’ll work closely with our team to test ideas, jump on trends quickly, and help us make content that feels genuine to our brand, while expanding our reach into new channels and audiences.

What You’ll Do

Set Social Strategy

  • Use trend insights and performance data to recommend content directions and formats
  • Help shape what we test next based on what’s working across TikTok, Reels, and competitor accounts

Create Content

  • Film and edit TikTok and Instagram Reels
  • Turn trending sounds, formats, and memes into brand content
  • Create TikTok reply videos responding to audience comments

Spot Trends

  • Track emerging TikTok and IG trends, sounds, and formats
  • Bring 5–10 trend-based ideas to a weekly content brainstorm

Find Creators & UGC

  • Identify micro-creators and viral accounts we should engage with
  • Surface strong user-generated content that could be reposted
  • Create Mood Boards to inspire our UGC creators

Mine the Comments

  • Monitor comments and conversations
  • Flag funny, interesting, or insightful comments that could become reply videos

Post & Engage

  • Publish TikTok and Instagram content
  • Respond to comments and engage with our community

Track Performance

  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly analytics
  • Identify what’s working and apply learnings to future content

Who You Are

  • You’re obsessed with TikTok, Reels, and internet culture
  • Your FYP is a mix of creators and brands, and you know which ones are hitting
  • You can explain why one video gets 2M views while another flops
  • You track trending audios and content formats before brands jump on them
  • You’re comfortable filming on a phone and editing in CapCut or similar tools
  • You’re organized, proactive, and full of ideas

Bonus if you:

  • Have created videos that have gone viral
  • Have grown a personal or niche account
  • Love wellness, fitness, or lifestyle content

Who Thrives in This Role

  • Current college student (bonus if studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field) eager to gain hands-on experience with a fast-growing consumer brand before graduation.
  • Recent graduate ready to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real marketing work and build experience across social, content, and brand partnerships.
  • Micro-influencer or UGC creator who understands how to make engaging content and is excited to learn what it’s like to work on the brand side of partnerships and campaigns.
  • Fitness or wellness professional with a strong interest in marketing and social media, and a proven ability to create content that resonates with an audience.
