Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

AFG Distribution is seeking a Marketing Specialist to manage our digital presence across social platforms within the Cannabis Industry. This role combines content creation, community engagement, influencer coordination, and more.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage and post across socials
• Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages
• Engage with followers and build community presence
• Track and analyze performance metrics
• Plan and execute giveaways and promotions
• Reshare content from customers, retailers, and partners
• Support and manage Facebook community group

Content Creation

• Design graphics and promotional assets
• Shoot and edit product photos and videos
• Develop seasonal and campaign-based content
• Organize and upload assets via Basecamp

Customer Support

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide product recommendations
• Assist with order tracking and updates
• Maintain clear and professional communication

Influencer Management

• Source, onboard, and manage influencer relationships
• Process influencer orders in NetSuite
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-ups
• Repost influencer and user-generated content

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in social media, digital marketing, or related role
• Experience with content creation (graphic design, photo, video)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Familiarity with marketing and design tools (Basecamp, NetSuite, Klaviyo, Adobe, Canva, or similar preferred)
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Portfolio strongly encouraged.
