Marketing Brand Ambassador (Hybrid Role)
Location: Baltimore, MD

Compensation Structure:

  • Onboarding & Training (First 90 Days): $15.00/hour
  • Specialist Level (Post-Training): Up to $42,000/year (based on successful performance review and KPI achievement)

About the Role

Are you a creative storyteller who doesn’t mind getting a little paint on your sleeves? Neon Paint Place is seeking a dynamic Marketing Brand Ambassador who thrives both behind the scenes and on the studio floor.

This is not a traditional desk job. You will play a key role in capturing, creating, and amplifying the energy of our glow-in-the-dark experiences while also supporting day-to-day studio operations. You are both the voice of our brand onlineand a key contributor to the in-studio guest experience.

The Neon Split: What to Expect

This is a hybrid role combining marketing execution and in-studio support:

  • 70% Marketing & Strategy
  • 30% Studio Operations & Guest Experience

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Manage HubSpot CRM, including lead tracking, pipeline management, and timely follow-ups
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and newsletters
  • Schedule and manage social media content across platforms

Content Creation & Brand Voice

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content during live events (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Design engaging marketing materials, including flyers and promotional graphics using Canva
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for campaigns, captions, and communications

Community Outreach & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with local brands, influencers, and vendors
  • Conduct outreach to increase brand awareness, partnerships, and booking opportunities

Studio Operations & Guest Experience

  • Assist with guest check-in, phone inquiries, and reservation confirmations
  • Support front desk operations and ensure a smooth guest flow during events
  • Help set up and reset paint stations, inventory checks, and overall studio readiness
  • Act as a brand ambassador during peak hours, ensuring a high-quality guest experience

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HubSpot (or similar CRM), Canva, and social media platforms
  • Strong Communicator: Professional, clear, and responsive in both written and verbal communication
  • Adaptable: Comfortable shifting between marketing tasks and hands-on studio support
  • Team-Oriented: Willing to jump in where needed to support the overall business

Requirements & Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during events
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (paint supplies and equipment)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Must be available during peak hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Professional appearance for networking and customer-facing interactions, with flexibility to transition into studio attire

Pay: Up to $42,000.00 per year
