Social Media & Creator Marketing Intern — Irving, TX (In-Person)

FYT is hiring a Social Media & Creator Marketing Intern to help build our social and creator engine from the ground up.

FYT is a fitness app where users take a 7-minute test, get a fitness score, see how they rank, and come back to improve. The product sits at the intersection of fitness, competition, progress tracking, challenges, and social sharing.

This is not a passive internship. You will help run FYT’s social accounts, source and manage creators, support short-form content strategy, and help turn ideas into content that gets attention and drives growth.

This role is for someone who is deeply online, understands short-form content, moves fast, and wants real ownership.

What you’ll do

• Help run FYT’s accounts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, Reddit, and other relevant channels
• Schedule and publish content, write captions, and help maintain strong posting cadence
• Research trends, hooks, creator formats, competitors, and content opportunities
• Source creators and support outreach, follow-ups, coordination, and content tracking
• Help build creator briefs, content concepts, scripts, and shot lists
• Review creator submissions and help identify what is strong, weak, and worth repeating
• Support creative testing and help improve content based on performance
• Work closely with the founder on building repeatable content systems

What we’re looking for

• Strong interest in social media, short-form video, creators, UGC, and internet culture
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Good instincts for hooks, trends, and what makes content perform
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple moving pieces
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable with creator outreach and coordination
• Interested in startups, fitness, consumer apps, or growth marketing
• Based in Dallas or able to work in person in Dallas

Strong plus

• You have run a personal page, brand account, club page, meme page, or creator account
• You have created short-form content yourself
• You have edited videos in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
• You have worked with creators, influencer outreach, or UGC before

This role is best for someone who wants real execution experience in social media, creators, content strategy, and startup growth. It is not a fit for someone looking for a low-responsibility internship.
