We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and community-driven Social Media Manager who can turn passion into engagement—and engagement into growth.
Role Overview
This role goes beyond posting content. You will lead our content strategy, social growth, and community engagement across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook
This role is about:
Building a movement around writing culture
Creating high-quality, story-driven, and viral-ready content
Driving excitement around launches, events, and collaborations
Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop and execute a consistent content calendar across all platforms
- Create engaging content: Reels, Shorts, Stories, Posts, and Videos
- Showcase products and lifestyle:
- Fountain pens
- Inks
- Journals
- Writing culture and storytelling
- Collaborate with internal team members to produce high-quality content
- Maintain a consistent brand voice: warm, storytelling-driven, and community-focused
Social Media Growth & Engagement
- Grow followers, reach, and engagement organically
- Analyze performance and optimize content strategy
- Actively engage with the audience (comments, DMs, conversations)
- Build a loyal “Pen Family” community
Influencer & Collaboration Management
- Identify and connect with:
- Fountain pen influencers
- Calligraphers
- Journal creators
- Plan and execute:
- Product collaborations
- Exclusive launches
- Affiliate/creator partnerships
- Manage and negotiate influencer campaigns
Events & Product Launches
- Plan and promote:
- In-store events
- Product launches
- Monthly meetups (Ink & Paper Club)
- Coordinate marketing campaigns across email and social
- Manage RSVP systems (Google Forms, email, social)
- Build excitement before, during, and after events
Creative Campaigns & Brand Building
- Develop creative campaigns and storytelling concepts
- Execute seasonal campaigns (Mystery Boxes, Fountain Pen Day, etc.)
- Bring product launches to life through:
- Visual storytelling
- Emotional connection
- Strong brand identity
Requirements Must-Have
- 2–5+ years of experience in social media management or content creation
- Strong experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
- Ability to shoot and edit content (phone or camera)
- Understanding of content trends, hooks, and storytelling
- Experience with influencer outreach and collaborations
Huge Plus
- Passion for:
- Fountain pens
- Stationery
- Journaling
- Experience in retail, lifestyle, or niche communities
- Familiarity with:
- Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools
- Email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo)
- Experience in event planning or community building
