An Influencer Marketing and Social Media Content Specialist develops and executes strategies and campaigns to build brand awareness, engagement, fandom and customer acquisition through creator partnerships. For social influencers, they are responsible for identifying, vetting, and negotiating with influencers, managing campaigns from ideation to completion and tracking ROI/KPIs; often collaborating with PR and creative teams. For social media content, they support the Social Media Director in developing content calendars and creative briefs, as well as overseeing content development and gaining client approvals. The role includes using AI-enables tools to help identify influencers, analyze social content performance and streamline campaign workflows. This position is part of an integrated account structure with account managers, creators, paid media strategists, social media strategists and public relations practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive influencer campaigns and support development of cross-channel content calendars that align with marketing goals and objectives.
- Influencer Relations: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with influencers and creators.
- Trend Monitoring: Support Social Media Director in identifying emerging social trends, sounds, and platform updates early to keep the brand culturally relevant.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate contracts, deliverables, usage rights, and compensation.
- Influencer/Creative Briefing: Prepare influencer briefs and campaign guidelines and support development of content creation briefs, including clear articulation of brand goals, campaign objectives, success outcomes and KPIs.
- Campaign Management: Oversee influencer content creation, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and FTC guidelines, and manage publishing schedules.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement, reach, and ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, creative, and PR teams to integrate influencer and social content into wider campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–5+ years in influencer marketing, social media marketing, content creation, talent management and/or digital marketing.
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn) and creator tools.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in tracking metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Experience working with AI-empowered platforms and tools to assist with influencer management, social content scheduling and social listening, like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meltwater and Klear.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Quality Assurance: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously
- Communication: Ability to communicate (speak, read and write) clearly and effectively in English and Spanish.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
