Social Media and Marketing Manager

Purple Roots is a fast-paced video marketing agency. We don’t just "make videos"—we build creative engines for our clients. We are looking for a right-hand powerhouse who can manage the day-to-day chaos, handle our public image, and most importantly, drive revenue through sales and upselling. If you are organized enough to manage a CEO’s calendar but hungry enough to close a five-figure deal, we want to talk.

What You’ll Be Doing 1. Personal Assistant & Operations * Manage scheduling, travel, and priority tasks for the CEO. * Coordinate between the production team (Editors/Designers) to ensure deadlines are met. * Keep the agency’s internal workflow organized and frictionless. 2. PR & Marketing * Manage the Purple Roots brand voice across social media and professional networks. * Handle outreach to media, influencers, and potential high-ticket partners. * Draft compelling copy for proposals, pitches, and marketing campaigns. 3. Sales & Upselling (The Growth Engine) * Identify opportunities within our current client base to offer additional high-value services. * Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into long-term partners. * Confidently pitch video marketing strategies to business owners and stakeholders.

Who You Are * The Ultimate Communicator: You can write a professional press release and then pivot to a high-pressure sales call without breaking a sweat. * A Strategic Thinker: You don't just take orders; you look for ways to make the business more efficient and profitable. * Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM tools, project management software, and the latest in AI-driven marketing. * Relentless: You understand that "No" in sales is just the beginning of the conversation. Requirements * 2+ years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, or Executive Assistance. * Proven track record of hitting sales targets or managing complex projects. * Strong understanding of the video production/creative agency landscape. * Ability to work in a fast-moving, "always-on" environment.
