Job Summary

A leading global technology and media organization is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to support its Global Social & Paid Marketing

This is a high-impact, short-term strategic role focused on launching and operationalizing an always-on paid social amplification program across multiple global markets. The role plays a critical part in shaping program strategy, governance, measurement, and cross-regional alignment.

Key Purpose of the Role

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to finalize, launch, and sustain a global paid social program
  • Act as a central strategic orchestrator, ensuring strong alignment across regions, agencies, analytics teams, and leadership
  • Translate complex paid media strategies into clear documentation, scalable frameworks, and executive-ready materials

Note: This is not a hands-on media buying role.

The position best aligns with a Senior Social Marketing Strategist / Program Manager with deep paid social expertise.

2️⃣ Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Build and finalize core strategic materials for an always-on paid social program
  • Create and manage:
  • Strategy decks and written documentation
  • One-page strategic plans
  • Operational playbooks (decision trees, RACI/DIM-style frameworks)
  • Market rollout timelines and campaign flighting templates
  • Partner closely with:
  • A centralized media strategy advisory team
  • An external media agency responsible for execution
  • Regional social marketing leads (APAC, LATAM, MENA, North America, Europe)
  • Analytics and insights teams
  • Ensure global strategic consistency while enabling local market flexibility
  • Develop measurement frameworks, reporting templates, and performance cadences
  • Interpret paid and organic social performance, including brand lift and effectiveness studies
  • Surface actionable insights to optimize programs during live campaigns
  • Support leadership updates and stakeholder communications with clear, concise insights

1. Paid Social Marketing Expertise

  • Strong experience developing paid social frameworks
  • Familiarity with always-on, brand-led social marketing programs
  • Experience partnering with media planners and agencies (without direct execution responsibility)

2. Data & Analytics Literacy

  • Comfortable working with:
  • Media performance metrics
  • Social analytics
  • Brand Lift or effectiveness studies
  • Ability to interpret data and translate results into insights and recommendations
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and reporting templates

3. Executive Communication & Strategic Writing

  • Proven ability to produce clear, structured decks and documentation
  • Strong storytelling abilities using data and insights
  • Executive-level verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working within large, matrixed global organizations
  • Prior agency background (strongly valued)
  • Exposure to global or multi-region campaign execution
  • Experience collaborating across multiple time zones
  • Familiarity with:
  • Instagram paid and organic social (primary launch platform)
  • TikTok, Snapchat, and owned video platforms (secondary or future scope)
  • Understanding of the creator and influencer ecosystem
