About the job

Social Media Content Specialist

Dairy Boy — Westport, CT-based (Manhattan Satellite Office + WFH Fridays)

Dairy Boy is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand built around a new vision of American style — blending nostalgia, sport, and everyday life with a point of view that feels fresh, intentional, and distinctly its own. We help people build lives and spaces that reflect who they are, and our audience is passionate, loyal, and growing fast across every platform.

We're looking for a Social Media Content Specialist to bring the Dairy Boy world to life across social — creating content that's visually sharp, emotionally resonant, and built to perform. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who can own the content process end to end, from concepting and capture to editing and posting, while raising the bar on consistency, quality, and creative ambition across everything we put out.

From launches and founder storytelling to everyday brand moments and growing extensions like The Farmstand and Study Break, you'll help translate a rich brand point of view into content people want to watch, save, share, and come back to.

The right person has strong taste, sharp instincts, and a clear understanding of what makes content feel current without feeling generic. They're deeply plugged into fashion, lifestyle, and internet culture, and they know how to turn a brand world into social storytelling that feels dynamic, thoughtful, and lived-in.

What You'll Do

You'll work closely with our Creative Director, Head of Marketing, and Art Director to shape and execute social content across launches, campaigns, founder and customer storytelling, and day-to-day brand expression. You'll also partner with our PR & Influencer Manager on UGC and seeding strategy. Specifically:

  • Own content creation from idea to post across all Dairy Boy social channels
  • Capture and edit short-form video and photo content for launches, events, campaigns, product stories, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Maintain a steady content pipeline across Dairy Boy and brand extensions including The Farmstand and Study Break
  • Create across key content categories: product, styling, lifestyle, founder, BTS, and culturally relevant moments
  • Stay on top of platform behavior, content trends, and shifts in online culture — and identify opportunities worth acting on
  • Support content calendars, asset organization, shoot logistics, posting, and community engagement (comments, DMs, replies) as needed
  • Track performance and surface insights on what's resonating, what audiences are responding to, and where to refine
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, creative, e-commerce, and brand teams to ensure content supports broader business priorities
  • Support UGC efforts and influencer seeding for amplification across owned channels

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in social media content creation or a related role
  • Strong command of Instagram, TikTok, and platform-native content formats
  • Sharp editing skills and visual instincts — you can create content that feels polished, current, and tonally consistent
  • A strong eye for storytelling, composition, pacing, and what makes content emotionally compelling
  • Clear creative point of view and strong taste
  • Ability to move quickly, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to be both strategic and hands-on
  • Deep interest in fashion, lifestyle, and brand storytelling, with a strong sense of what feels culturally relevant

Why Dairy Boy

Dairy Boy is scaling quickly, and this role puts you at the center of how the brand shows up every day. You'll work directly with senior leadership, have real ownership over creative output, and help build a social presence that's distinctive, consistent, and worth following. If you want to do meaningful work at a brand that cares deeply about taste and craft, this is a great place to do it.

This is a full-time, in-person role based between Westport, CT and Manhattan, with remote work on Fridays.
