Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an experienced and resourceful Director of Marketing with a robust background in direct response marketing, media buying, offer strategy, and copywriting. This role requires a strategic thinker who can not only craft compelling narratives that “engages and converts” but also help lead a cross functional team. The ideal candidate will help lead marketing strategy and implementation across customer acquisition and retention marketing by blending innovative storytelling with data-driven strategies. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by expanding marketing across our entire product line, exploring new marketing channels, and optimizing existing ones. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a deep understanding of D2C e-commerce, media buying, and direct response marketing. They will need to proactively eliminate bottlenecks leveraging AI in our creative process and support the performance marketing team while identifying new opportunities to drive sales and profitability.

This is a dynamic role that requires someone who can think creatively, analytically, manage multiple projects, and implement new strategies to fuel new customer sales. The right candidate should be ready to take ownership of marketing processes, support team performance, drive AI implementation, and uncover new revenue streams while keeping up with industry trends and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting Excellence: Develop persuasive copy for Meta/Google Ad campaigns, long and short-form sales pages, and advertorials.
  • Creative Leadership: Manage a team of media buyers and video editors to produce top-tier creative assets.
  • Strategic Campaign Development: Work with cross-functional teams to create high-converting offer pages, pre-sale pages, and advertorials.
  • Revenue Expansion: Identify and implement new revenue opportunities through diverse customer acquisition methodologies leveraging paid media, affiliate marketing and influencer partnerships.
  • Innovative Use of AI: Operate from an AI focused standpoint leveraging AI tools to enhance creative output and streamline marketing workflows.

    • Ecommerce Platforms: Checkout Champ, Shopify, Meta/IG/TikTok/TikTok Shop/Google/ Bing/Amazon, Vercel, Github
    • AI: Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, Higgsfield, Nanobanana, Veo 3, Higgsfield
    • Data Tracking: Triple Whale, Voluum, Google Tag Manager
    • Other SaaS: Asana, Telegram, Klaviyo, Foreplay, KaloData, FastMoss, Frame.io
  • Highly proficient in media buying (Meta, Google, Bing, YouTube)
  • Direct response marketing expertise
  • Managing and driving data drive creative strategy for Meta, Google, and other platforms
  • Dashboard analysis with ability to make decisions based on data
  • Excellent math skills
  • Proven experience in D2C e-commerce marketing, with a strong background in copywriting, media buying, retention marketing, and team management.
  • Direct response marketing experience.
  • Experience in the supplements industry is preferred
